Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 23: Swarna Gets Angry at Abhira for Choosing Ruhi as the Surrogate; Kaveri Becomes Suspicious
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri and Sanjay grow suspicious of Ruhi, Rohit, Abhira, and Armaan. Meanwhile, Swarna worries about Abhira and Ruhi’s relationship.
Abhira Gets Emotional Over Ruhi’s Help
Abhira asks little Daksh to pray to God for a baby brother or sister. The IVF procedure is completed, and the doctor informs Abhira, Ruhi, Rohit, and Armaan that they will soon know if it was successful. Abhira checks on Ruhi, who assures her that she is fine. Rohit and Armaan receive calls and leave.
Feeling emotional, Abhira thanks Ruhi for helping them. Meanwhile, Swarna spots Abhira and Ruhi at the hospital with Daksh. As she tries to stop them, she accidentally bumps into the doctor. The doctor mistakenly hands over Ruhi’s file to Swarna. Curious, she checks the file and is shocked. Meanwhile, Ruhi leaves with Daksh.
Swarna Confronts Abhira
Swarna meets Abhira outside the hospital and gives her the file. She reveals that Ruhi has agreed to be their surrogate. However, she is furious at Abhira for making this decision. She reminds Abhira about Ruhi and Armaan’s past relationship and warns her that Ruhi’s intentions could change anytime. Swarna insists that Ruhi cannot be trusted with their baby.
Swarna further reminds Abhira about her complicated history with Ruhi. She warns her that choosing Ruhi as the surrogate is a mistake and could lead to future problems. She even compares the situation to Armaan’s childhood, saying that their baby might also struggle with having “two mothers.” Abhira is left worried and confused.
Vidya Misses Armaan; Abhira Shares Her Concerns
Vidya misses Armaan. Shivani calls Vidya and tells her that Armaan also misses her. She then asks Vidya to teach her how to make halwa since Armaan likes it. Vidya agrees and even apologizes to Shivani for her past mistakes.
Meanwhile, Abhira visits Armaan and shares her concerns about Ruhi being their surrogate. Armaan reassures her, saying Ruhi has changed and now loves Rohit. However, Abhira can’t stop thinking about their past struggles and losses. Armaan reminds her to focus on the good moments they have shared.
Kaveri and Sanjay Grow Suspicious
Abhira goes to Charu’s yoga class, but Charu suddenly decides to leave. On the other hand, Sanjay becomes suspicious of Ruhi. He shares his doubts with Kaveri, but she scolds him for neglecting business matters. She also taunts him about the losses he has caused in their firm. In response, Sanjay sarcastically says that she will soon need his help to keep an eye on Abhira, Armaan, Ruhi, and Rohit.
Ruhi and Rohit Try to Hide the Truth
Ruhi and Rohit decide to give the surrogacy file to Abhira because Kaveri has started suspecting something. Meanwhile, Shivani offers sweets to Armaan. After tasting them, he remembers Vidya. Shivani asks him to forgive her, but Armaan refuses.
Abhira and Armaan inform Ruhi and Rohit that Swarna now knows about the surrogacy. Worried about Kaveri’s suspicions, Ruhi hands the file to Abhira. Suddenly, Kaveri arrives and tries to check the file. Thinking quickly, Ruhi lies, saying the file contains Rohit’s property papers and that he is transferring his property to Armaan and Abhira. Kaveri scolds Rohit and warns them. She then informs Sanjay that she is leaving town and orders him to keep an eye on Ruhi and Rohit.
Later, Ruhi avoids eating papaya, which makes Sanjay even more suspicious.
