Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, February 27: Vidya Puts Armaan in a Tough Spot
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya is furious after seeing Armaan’s bond with Shivani. Meanwhile, Shivani expresses her wish to stay with Armaan, making things even more complicated.
Vidya Gets Angry Over Shivani’s Presence
Vidya becomes angry and upset when she sees Armaan and Abhira praying with Shivani. However, Shivani praises Vidya for raising Armaan like her own son. This doesn’t sit well with Kaveri, who lashes out at Shivani, blaming her for returning and disturbing their lives.
Armaan tries to calm the situation and asks Kaveri to let Vidya and Shivani sort out their issues. However, Kaveri refuses to let Shivani offer prayers in their temple. This makes Armaan furious, and he tells Kaveri not to disrespect his mother.
Vidya Puts Armaan in a Difficult Situation
Kaveri insists that Vidya is the only daughter-in-law of the Poddar family and no one can replace her. Abhira tries to convince Vidya that both she and Shivani are Armaan’s mothers and asks her to accept Shivani. Armaan also pleads with Vidya to accept her.
However, Vidya is deeply hurt. She breaks down in tears and asks Armaan to make a life-changing decision—choosing between her and Shivani.
Vidya further adds that whoever Armaan chooses will be Madhav’s wife and the official daughter-in-law of the Poddar family. Armaan hesitates to decide, which disappoints Vidya. She reminds him that he is her whole world and then pleads with Abhira to make Armaan choose her. But Abhira asks Vidya to understand Armaan’s feelings instead.
Vidya then reminds Abhira how she lost Daksh to Ruhi, comparing her pain to Abhira’s past. She begs Abhira to convince Armaan and walks away in tears. Kaveri then warns Armaan that choosing Shivani would be a betrayal to Vidya.
Meanwhile, Ruhi and Rohit Meet Kiya
Elsewhere, Ruhi and Rohit go to meet Kiya, who tells them she wants to return home. However, Abhir refuses to let her.
Vidya Tries to Interfere, But Kaveri Stops Her
Vidya later sees Madhav and Shivani talking, but Kaveri stops her from interrupting. Instead, she scolds Vidya for asking Abhira to help her in this situation.
Overhearing this, Shivani feels disappointed and tells them that Armaan and Abhira had assured her they would handle the situation.
Vidya speaks harshly to Shivani, but Shivani clarifies that she doesn’t want anything from the Poddar family—she only wants to stay with Armaan. However, Kaveri tells Shivani that her presence will only create more problems in the house. Shivani starts reflecting on her words.
Vidya and Kaveri Insist Shivani Leaves
Kaveri and Vidya pressure Shivani to leave the house. Vidya even pleads with her to go, while Abhira overhears their conversation. The episode ends on this intense note.
