Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, Jan 2: Will Vidya Tell the Truth About Abhir’s Accident to the Poddars and Goenkas?

In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira and Armaan are worried about Abhir’s health, and Vidya decides it’s time to reveal the truth to everyone.

The episode begins with Kiara running away as soon as she sees Kaveri, and Abhira follows her. The guard stops Kaveri from entering because it’s a VIP area. Armaan realizes that he lost the VIP passes and goes to look for them.

Abhira tells Kiara that she is acting like a child, which is why the family doesn’t treat her like an adult. Kiara says she will leave once she apologizes to Abhir. Abhira tells Kiara she will pass on the apology to Abhir. She then takes Kiara outside, where Kaveri takes her away.

Swarna asks Abhira if she has spoken to Armaan, and Manish asks why she’s chasing that boy who has hurt her so many times. Swarna reminds him that Armaan is Abhira’s husband. Abhira explains that her grandfather has every right to be angry with her, and she admits that marriage is difficult. Since she isn’t a perfect wife, she can’t expect Armaan to be a perfect husband.

Abhira and Armaan continue searching for each other with “cure” placards. Manish asks Charu and Siara if Abhir has arrived, and they say he hasn’t. Armaan sees Vidya and approaches her, but she gets startled.

Abhira decides to go on stage to announce that she is waiting for Armaan. Armaan gets excited when he hears this.

Abhir arrives at the concert, and everyone cheers. However, as soon as he reaches the stage, he loses consciousness. Abhira screams, and everyone becomes worried. Vidya recognizes Abhir by his jacket and starts to feel anxious.

The Poddars and Goenkas rush Abhir to the hospital, and Abhira goes with him in the ambulance. Kiara gets upset because her family stops her from going.

At the hospital, Kaveri tries to comfort Manish, telling him to stay strong. Armaan asks Ruhi to eat something. Vidya decides it’s time to tell the truth, and just then, the doctor comes out and informs everyone that Abhir is in critical condition. Everyone prays for Abhir, and the episode ends.
