In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotions ran high as Abhira made a shocking move, leaving the Goenkas and Poddars in disbelief.
Tensions Rise in the Families
The episode began with Kaveri fuming over her fight with Manish, accusing him of misbehaving. While Sanjay supported Kaveri, Ruhi took Manish’s side, criticizing Armaan for his behavior. When Armaan tried to defend himself, Ruhi refused to listen.
Meanwhile, Abhir expressed his frustration with the Poddar family, accusing Kaveri of airing Abhira’s private matters publicly. Despite Armaan’s apology for his actions, he complained about how Abhira’s anger worsened the situation.
Abhira’s Bold Step
Swarna advised Abhira to think about her future and talk to Armaan, but this only upset Abhir further. Abhir urged Abhira to sign the divorce papers, saying there was nothing left in her relationship with Armaan. While Ruhi tried to assure Armaan that Abhira wouldn’t sign the papers, Abhira stunned everyone by doing just that.
Abhira explained her decision to Armaan, saying a relationship requires trust and respect, both of which were missing. Her action left both families shocked, with Abhir confirming to the Poddars that Abhira wouldn’t return.
Emotional Outbursts
The situation escalated as Kaveri lashed out, blaming Abhira for the issues in her marriage. Madhav defended Abhira, accusing Kaveri of repeatedly hurting her and holding her responsible for the divorce.
Armaan, unable to accept the situation, broke down and went to the Goenkas’ house to confront Abhira. Meanwhile, Abhira’s emotions boiled over. She added extra chili powder to her food and ate it through tears, reflecting her pain and anger.
A Dramatic Ending
As the night deepened, both families were startled by the sound of a car horn. The Goenkas found Armaan at their doorstep, demanding to meet Abhira, while the Poddars saw Abhira blowing the horn herself.
The episode ended with Abhira breaking down as she recalled Armaan’s betrayal and the lack of love from the Poddar family despite all her efforts. Her pain and the fallout from her decision left both families shaken.
