Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, Jan 3: Doctors Reveal Shocking Truth About Abhir’s Accident; Abhira Reacts
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the doctors share some shocking news about Abhir’s accident. Abhira asks Madhav to promise them that they will find the person responsible for the accident and punish them.
The episode starts with Vidya trying to tell Armaan the truth about what happened to Abhir. The news report says that Abhir was drunk and driving on the wrong side of the road when the accident happened. This news makes Abhira really angry. They go inside a room, and Abhira throws things in frustration. Armaan follows her and tries to calm her down.
Sanjay suggests that Abhir might have been drunk when the accident happened, but Manish tells him not to spread rumors. Madhav reveals that the accident occurred in a quiet area, so it’s taking time to solve the case. He also confirms that a car hit Abhir, and the driver ran away.
The Goenkas and Poddars pray for Abhir. The doctor informs them that Abhir has regained consciousness, and everyone rushes to see him. However, when Abhir sees the Poddars, he tells them he never wants to see them again, and they leave.
Abhir asks Ruhi and Abhira to help him get up on the bed. The Poddars watch from outside the glass. The doctors tell the Goenkas that Abhir may never be able to walk again because the accident caused damage to his nerves. Abhir breaks down and says his career as a “rockstar” is over.
Ruhi and Abhir try to comfort him, saying they will take him abroad for treatment. Manish gets upset with the doctor and demands he do something. Abhir asks everyone to leave him alone.
Later, Abhira asks Madhav to promise that he will find the person responsible for Abhir’s condition and punish them. Vidya becomes anxious. The Poddars return to the hotel, where Kaveri stops Kiara from meeting Abhir.
Rohit tells Vidya to apologize to Abhir for slapping him earlier. Meanwhile, Abhir refuses to eat anything. Abhira gives him Akshara’s blanket, which makes Abhir emotional. The episode ends here.
