Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, November 8: Ruhi Has an Accident; Will Her Baby Survive?
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi meets with an accident while driving alone. Will her baby survive?
The episode begins with Rohit dropping a doll. Armaan takes it to Abhira, and everyone claps. Rohit then gives it to Ruhi, but she gets upset and leaves. Vidya tries to stop her. Ruhi says she just wants to go for a walk and insists nothing will happen to her. Vidya, concerned, decides to join her for some fresh air.
Sanjay talks to Kaveri about how no one at home cares about him. Kaveri tells him that even his daughter Charu is angry with him, but once she forgives him, everyone else will too. Sanjay refuses to apologize, saying he hasn’t done anything wrong.
A group of women talk about the babies of Ruhi and Abhira. They notice Abhira is glowing, so they think she must be having a boy, while Ruhi looks pale, so they assume she’s having a girl. They hope this means there won’t be any disputes over inheritance. Manisha overhears and scolds them, saying they should care more about the babies being healthy than their gender.
Vidya and Manisha take Ruhi for a walk. While Manisha goes to get food, Vidya tells Ruhi not to worry about what the women were saying. She says she hopes Ruhi has a daughter since she already has sons and knows that boys stay with their parents forever, while girls leave when they grow up.
Abhira talks to Armaan, and she feels the baby kick. She shares the moment with him and expresses a wish for their children to grow up together as close siblings, leaving their past differences behind.
Ruhi, curious about the baby’s gender, asks the ladies for the address of a saint who can predict it. Rohit overhears and questions why she cares so much about the gender. They argue, and Ruhi says that society cares about it, and their family would prefer a boy. She insists on finding out, even though Rohit disagrees.
Meanwhile, Abhira suddenly feels some pain. The family rushes to her, but the doctor confirms it’s just gas. Manish jokes that she scared everyone, and Armaan scolds her for eating golgappas.
Ruhi, feeling frustrated, decides to leave the house and drive herself. She says that while everyone else is busy with Abhira, she’s enough for her baby. Manisha, talking to Aaryan, says that Abhira needs the family’s support now, and that’s how families work.
While driving, Ruhi starts to feel severe pain. She cries out as it worsens. Back at the house, Krish and the others discuss Abhira’s baby’s name when Vidya notices Ruhi is missing. Rohit assumes she’s gone to the saint to find out the baby’s gender, and the family is concerned.
Suddenly, Ruhi is hit by a car, and blood comes from her forehead. The driver, seeing her injured, panics and drives away. Ruhi falls over the steering wheel and loses consciousness. The episode ends here.
