Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 8: Abhira Gets Emotional, Armaan Prepares for Job Interview

Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was filled with emotions and surprises. Abhira was taken aback when the Goenka family visited her, while Armaan got an important job interview opportunity.

Goenkas Visit Abhira and Armaan

The episode starts with Manish, Swarna, and Surekha arriving at Abhira’s house. Armaan welcomes them warmly, but Abhira is shocked and struggles to hold back her tears. Armaan reassures her to stay strong.

💬 Swarna asks Abhira why she hasn’t come back home yet.
💬 Surekha blames Armaan for Abhira’s struggles and questions why Abhira is choosing a tough life instead of living comfortably with the Goenkas.

Hearing this, Armaan admits that Abhira is indeed suffering because of him. He tells her that if she wants, she is free to return to her family. This hurts Abhira deeply, and she asks him if he wants her to leave because he is tired of her.

Swarna offers to take Abhira home, but Abhira refuses. She wants to stay and support Armaan, no matter what.

Manish Encourages Abhira, Armaan Gets a Job Interview Call

Meanwhile, Charu finds out that Armaan and Abhira have left the Poddar house and tries to call him, but Kaveri stops the family from reaching out.

Manish understands Armaan’s struggles and says that the Poddars have lost someone valuable. He supports Abhira and gifts her Akshara’s pen, encouraging her to write her own future. This makes Abhira very happy.

📞 Just then, Armaan gets a call for a job interview, giving him hope for a fresh start.

Shivani Prepares Breakfast for Armaan

Shivani asks Abhira and Armaan about their visitors. Abhira explains that Manish was in a hurry but promised to visit again.

Shivani then offers to make upma for Armaan before his interview. But Abhira reminds her that Armaan doesn’t like upma. Shivani insists that he used to love it before.

🍽️ Armaan agrees to eat it, but Shivani stops him, saying she doesn’t want him to compromise.

Kaveri Refuses to Accept Armaan and Abhira

Back at the Poddar house, Kaveri tells the family not to contact Armaan, believing that he will soon realize his mistake and return home.

🚧 However, Charu and Rohit inform her that contractors are refusing to renew business deals without Armaan. Despite this, Kaveri remains firm in her decision to not welcome him back.

Abhira’s Emotional Moment, Kiara’s Surprise Visit

Later, Abhira misses her mother, Akshara, and wishes for a miracle.

Meanwhile, Abhir and Kiara arrive at the Poddar house, leaving Charu surprised. Kaveri refuses to welcome them, but Ruhi reveals that she invited them for the post-wedding ritual.

🎊 Ruhi convinces Kaveri to allow Kiara to perform the ritual.

Later, Shivani sees Abhira crying and asks if she is okay. Though Abhira tries to hide her pain, Shivani comforts her.

As the episode ends, Abhira thinks about Armaan’s childhood, lost in memories.
