Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update – November 19: Ruhi Refuses to Feed Abhira’s Baby
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi refuses Abhira’s request to feed her newborn, sparking tension within the family.
Ruhi Refuses to Help
The episode begins with Ruhi feeling guilty and asking the doctor for help, thinking her carelessness caused her to lose her baby. Abhira rushes to the doctor, saying she is struggling to feed her newborn. The doctor suggests that both Ruhi and Abhira should support each other during this difficult time.
Abhira pleads with Ruhi to feed her baby. Ruhi walks toward the baby but stops, asking Abhira to leave. She firmly says she won’t share her baby’s rights with another child and shuts the door, leaving Abhira heartbroken as she pleads for help.
Family Discussions
Surekha and Swarna talk about Abhira and Ruhi. Swarna mentions that unlike their mothers, the sisters are not willing to help each other. Manish reflects that their mothers had a brother who kept the peace between them and wonders if Abhir could do the same. Surekha warns him, reminding him of the problems caused when he tried to bring Abhir back into the family.
Vidya Criticizes Abhira
Abhira decides to prepare formula milk for her baby. Vidya criticizes her, questioning what kind of mother gives formula milk to a 15-day-old baby. Armaan defends Abhira, saying she’s doing her best and pointing out that mothers are judged more harshly than fathers. Kaveri intervenes, asking Vidya to let the matter go.
Later, Armaan records a video of Abhira singing a bhajan to help her baby sleep. Ruhi, meanwhile, covers her ears in frustration.
Rohit Confronts Ruhi
Rohit confronts Ruhi about her behavior, pointing out that even distant relatives help each other’s babies, yet Ruhi refuses to help her own family. Ruhi questions whether the baby is truly hers. Rohit explains that Abhira is trying to share her baby with her, but Ruhi lashes out, accusing him of caring more about Abhira’s happiness than her grief. She suggests leaving for B Nanu’s house to distance herself from Abhira and the baby.
Kaveri’s Advice
Vidya considers discussing Ruhi’s behavior with Swarna, but Kaveri stops her. She advises Vidya to treat her daughters-in-law equally and to solve family issues within the Poddar household instead of involving outsiders.
A Twist at the End
Later, the family gathers in the hall, where Kaveri gives head massages to Charu and Kiara. Abhira joins them, saying her baby is now asleep after drinking formula milk. Vidya looks on disapprovingly.
Meanwhile, Aaryan’s coach arrives at the house, revealing that Aaryan has been suspended from school due to bad behavior. The family is left shocked as the episode ends.
